North Shore scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took down Lawrence 71-56. The victory was just what North Shore needed coming off of a 62-42 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Friends Academy strolled past the Mules with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 61-45. Given Friends Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Mules are ranked 589th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jackson O'Brien was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Mckenzie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
The win got North Shore back to even at 2-2. As for Friends Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.
