Baseball Recap: Sierra Has No Trouble Against Sanger West

Sierra's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Sanger West Hornets with a sharp 14-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Chieftains, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Hallman, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Zach Lloyd, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Sierra was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Sierra's record now sits at 13-5. As for Sanger West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

As for Sanger West, they will square off against Immanuel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
