Foreman took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Spring Hill, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Gator Arkansas narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bears 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Gator Arkansas as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Foreman's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kolt Chaviers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Lawson Mears also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
The win got Foreman back to even at 3-3. As for Spring Hill, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
