On Tuesday, Coppell faced Hebron in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Coppell fell 3-1 to Hebron. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Coppell couldn't push the score so high this time.
In what's become a running theme this season, Flower Mound gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Plano. The victory was just what Flower Mound needed coming off of a 4-0 defeat in their prior contest.
Coppell's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-2. As for Flower Mound, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Everything went Coppell's way against Flower Mound when the teams last played back in March of 2023 as Coppell made off with a 3-0 victory. Will Coppell repeat their success, or does Flower Mound have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
