The South Brunswick Cougars will head out to  square off against the Ashley Screaming Eagle  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. South Brunswick is coming into the  matchup on  a  three-game losing streak.

Ashley came out on top against Hoggard  on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Screaming Eagle blew past the Vikings 13-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Screaming Eagle.
Ashley got a great performance from  Jackson Lee as he  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits.
 At the plate,  Quinn Bentley was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Tanner Berry, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Ashley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hoggard only posted  an  OBP of  .318.
 Ashley's victory was  their eighth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 18-4. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
 South Brunswick couldn't quite get it done against Ashley in their previous matchup  back in March as they fell  6-3. Can the Cougars avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
