Westminster Christian is 7-1 against Brito since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Westminster Christian Warriors will host the Brito Panthers at 3:30 p.m. Brito took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Westminster Christian, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Westminster Christian earned a 9-4 victory over St. Brendan. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Sabres recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Carlos Perez looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on James Suarez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Gabriel Mejia was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
Westminster Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Brendan only posted a batting average of .300.
Meanwhile, Brito came up short against Mater Lakes Academy on Saturday, falling 16-7. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.
Brito also got a good showing from Andres Anzola, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, Noah Nevarez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.
Westminster Christian's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs over those games. As for Brito, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
Westminster Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Brito in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 7-5. Will Westminster Christian repeat their success, or does Brito have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
