Hilltop has gone a perfect 10-0 against Stryker recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cadets will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Hilltop is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Hilltop is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Liberty Center with a sharp 19-7 victory on Monday. Considering the Cadets have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Giada Rising made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophia Crossgrove, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kenley Routt, who scored a run while going 4-for-5.
Hilltop was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .346 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Stryker unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 20-2 to North Adams-Jerome on Friday.
Addalee Fulk made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles and two RBI.
Hilltop pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Stryker, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything went Hilltop's way against Stryker in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Hilltop made off with a 21-0 win. Do the Cadets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
