Joshua Checketts Game Report: vs Syracuse

Joshua Checketts produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Layton to the win on Friday. Checketts dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Checketts and Layton have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Darts, probably because Checketts had a solid game then too: he posted four points and five rebounds.
