Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Christian Community has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 30 points or more this season. They really took it to South Haven Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-34 win on the road.
Autumn Ray and A.C. Caverly were among the main playmakers for Christian Community as the former scored 18 points and the latter scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Ray has scored at least 25% of Christian Community's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Brentlinger, who scored 10 points.
Meanwhile, after only 15 points in their last game, Highland Rim Academy made sure to put some points up on the board against Pleasant View Christian on Friday. Highland Rim Academy was the clear victor by a 55-31 margin over Pleasant View Christian.
Christian Community has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Highland Rim Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Christian Community strolled past Highland Rim Academy in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 49-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christian Community since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
