After losing to The Quinebaug Valley Coop Pride the last time they met, the Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral enjoyed a cozy 23-6 victory over Quinebaug Valley Coop on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral.
It was another big night for David Belle, who rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Belle is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Angel Fonseca, who threw for 204 yards on 13 of 21 attempts.
Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Quinebaug Valley Coop, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral will look to defend their home field on October 27th against Vinal RVT/Goodwin RVT at 6:00 p.m. As for Quinebaug Valley Coop, they will head out on the road to face off against O'Brien RVT at 10:30 a.m. on October 28th. O'Brien RVT comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
