Scranton lost to Pocono Mountain West  back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Knights put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp  11-4 win. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by  exactly seven  runs.

 Parker Woznick made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Thor Kelly was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with four  runs and two  stolen bases. He has become a key player for Scranton: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 9-10 otherwise.  Joe McIntyre was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base.
Scranton has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Pocono Mountain West, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the  defeat, which was their ninth straight  on the road.
