The Cypress Creek Bears scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 66-28 win over Ridge Community. The win was some much needed relief for Cypress Creek as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Ridge Community's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was T. Bodison, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds. Bodison is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of V. Marcelin , who scored eight points.
Cypress Creek's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Ridge Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
Cypress Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against University at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridge Community, they will head out on the road to face off against Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Davenport will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
