There's no place like home for the Redeemer Christian Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Meadowbrook Academy 73-55 on Thursday. With that victory, Redeemer Christian brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.
Andrew Parker was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Suarez, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Redeemer Christian pushed their record up to 6-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Meadowbrook Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redeemer Christian will take on Aucilla Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meadowbrook Academy, they will be playing at home against Cedar Key at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
