Battle might have drawn first blood against Virginia on Friday, but it was Virginia who got the last laugh. Battle took a 13-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Virginia. If Battle were hoping to take revenge for the 14-35 loss against Virginia the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The game pushed Battle down to 0-1 and pulled Virginia up to the reverse 1-0.
Next week, Battle take on Holston at 7:00 PM. As for Virginia, they will face off against Tennessee.
