Jayden Stoddard Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jayden Stoddard produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wahkiakum to the win on Friday. Stoddard threw for 333 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 3.3 passing touchdowns per game. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
The win (which was Wahkiakum's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Stoddard and Wahkiakum will challenge Chief Leschi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gio Rodas Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Thursday, Oakville got the W thanks in part to Gio Rodas playing the best football he has all season. Rodas threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Sound Christian had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Rodas it was a similar story. Rodas threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries the last time he and the Lions duked it out back in October of 2023.

Sound Christian Gets a Boost from Resseau in 56-42 Defeat
Kona Resseau's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his third-straight game with 183+ rushing yards. He rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 28 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Resseau has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 139.2 passing yards per game.

Daniel Rodas Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Thursday, Oakville got the W thanks in part to Daniel Rodas playing the best football he has all season.
