The North Eagles stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Calhoun County 85-50 at home. The victory was nothing new for North as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading North to victory were Kashannon Strobert and Stetson Stacks. Strobert dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Stacks scored 20 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Stacks has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Ashton Jamison was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
Calhoun County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jayden Wallace, who scored 16 points. Wallace hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Kerron Scott, who scored 13 points.
North's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Calhoun County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
North will head out on the road to face off against the Blue Devils at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calhoun County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagener-Salley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
