Badger is 0-10 against Bristol since May of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Braves will look to defend their home field against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m.
On Monday, Badger came up short against East and fell 10-6.
Badger saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lewis Flowers, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Bristol never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on Chalker with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Panthers have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Jonas Miller and Diesel Williams were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Miller tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Williams pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bristol is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise. At the plate, Miller earned two runs and one stolen base, while Williams went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Kaiden Kohler was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Berry, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Bristol kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chalker only managed two hits.
Bristol is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Badger, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
Badger suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Bristol in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Braves have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
