The Rutherford Rams lost against the Bozeman Bucks back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Rutherford took a 41-24 bruising from Bozeman. While losing is never fun, Rutherford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 429th, while Bozeman is ranked 205th).
Jason Havens jr. threw for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Bozeman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Peyton Gay, who threw for 240 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Chance Jenkins was another key contributor, gaining 113 total yards and three touchdowns.
This is the second loss in a row for Rutherford and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Bozeman, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Rutherford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bozeman also has no future games currently scheduled.
