San Augustine will take on Groveton in each of the teams' fourth playoff game on Friday. Averaging 57.67 points per contest, the San Augustine squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Groveton's defense is prepared for a test.
San Augustine earned some more postseason success in their matchup last Friday. They made easy work of Harleton and carried off a 47-21 win. Jayden Hicks had a stellar game for the Wolves as he punched in two rushing TDs and threw three passing touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Groveton was able to grind out a solid victory over Joaquin last week, winning 42-28.
Everything went the Wolves' way against the Indians the last time the two teams met in October as they made off with a 66-39 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Indians have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
