Despite the defeat, West Side had strong showings from Holly Kropf, who scored seven points, and Harley Nielsen, who scored six points.
Soda Springs' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for West Side, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Soda Springs will head out on the road to face off against Snake River at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Snake River presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Soda Springs in Idaho (Snake River is ranked 14th, while Soda Springs is ranked 71st). West Side will be home for the holidays to greet Malad at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Malad will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
