The Holy Redeemer Royals will head out on the road to  take on  the Loyalsock Township Lancers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Holy Redeemer will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
 Holy Redeemer can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against MMI Preparatory School as Holy Redeemer made off with  a  12-2 win. With that  victory, Holy Redeemer brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.
  Nick Mazzarella made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Mazzarella has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Mazzarella was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Drew Cisney, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Cisney is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.  Luke Kopec was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Loyalsock Township suffered a  tough 21-13 defeat at the hands of Central Mountain  on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  on Monday (11), Loyalsock Township still had to take the loss.
  Ethan Nagy was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  John Kiehl, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Holy Redeemer pushed their record up to 6-2 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for Loyalsock Township, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
 Friday's   match will be a test for both team's pitchers. Holy Redeemer hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Loyalsock Township struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .318. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Holy Redeemer came out on top in a nail-biter against Loyalsock Township  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Holy Redeemer since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
