He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Buikema was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.

 In other batting news, Timothy Christian let  Jonah Roemmich and  Nolan Montella run wild. Roemmich  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run, while  Montella  went 3-for-5 with five  RBI and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  Montella a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Luke Canada, who  went 3-for-5 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Timothy Christian was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .417. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Timothy Christian pushed their record up to 13-12 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home.  Looking ahead, Timothy Christian will face off against St. Edward at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Latin, they will venture away from home to  face off against St. Patrick  at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday.
