Jonathan Pearson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Tri-County's Jonathan Pearson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pearson rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102). That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
Pearson is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Bowman Academy on Friday. Pearson rushed for 171 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Ben Sherrick was a major factor in North White's victory over South Newton on Friday. Sherrick was dynamite, rushing for 116 yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
The win made it two in a row for North White and bumps their season record up to 3-4. They and North Newton are set to duel on Friday.

Frontier Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jason Newton
Jason Newton's big game helped extend Frontier's winning streak to six on Friday. Newton was unstoppable, rushing for 93 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
This year, Newton has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 88.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns.
