Westfield had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Dekaney on Friday. The Westfield Mustangs were the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over the Dekaney Wildcats. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maya Shotwell, who posted 11 points.

Westfield pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dekaney, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Westfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-53 loss against Nimitz on the 22nd. As for Dekaney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-38 defeat against Benjamin Davis on the 22nd.
