You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Classical Prep on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Hernando Christian Academy Lions out of the water with a 46-14 final score. Classical Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 32 points or more this season.

Classical Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaelyn Malloy led the charge by putting up 21 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Malloy has scored at least a third of Classical Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Zimmerman, who posted eight points along with five boards and five steals.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kensington Claus, who had six points. Another player making a difference was Avery Collins, who scored two points and four steals.

Classical Prep is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points per game. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
