Softball Recap: Oak Hill Has No Trouble Against Marion

Oak Hill had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Marion on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Giants. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Giants recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Pathie Speicher made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lex Myers was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Ry-Ry Myers was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
