Nasir Collins Has Career-Day on Friday
Starting off the list is Mount Union's Nasir Collins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Collins made six total tackles, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Mount Union's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. They and Meyersdale are set to duel on Friday.

Hoover Came Up Big in Juniata Valley's 42-22 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Vincent Hoover stepped things up a notch to give Juniata Valley the 'W'. Southern Huntingdon County had no answer to Hoover as he rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns. Hoover didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).
This year, Hoover has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 75.8 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging six rushing yards per game.

Landon Buck's Big Game Leads Moshannon Valley over West Branch
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Landon Buck stepped things up a notch to give Moshannon Valley the 'W'. Nobody could stop Buck as he rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.
This year, Buck has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 82.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.33 rushing yards per game.

Rocco Reifer Makes It Two for Moshannon Valley
Another Moshannon Valley player making an appearance on this list is Rocco Reifer. He rushed for 143 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 143 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for West Branch, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Reifer. When Reifer last faced the Warriors back in October of 2023, he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Ryan Posts Huge Game in 21-13 Win
Another Mount Union player making an appearance on this list is Josh Ryan. He rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Claysburg-Kimmel's probably not too fond of Ryan given he always seems to get the better of them. When Ryan last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown.
