The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mountain Grove, who took down 75th ranked Mountain Grove, 21-7. Jaelon Acklin threw for 101 yards and one touchdown and ran for 150 yards in the win.
Liberty extended the longest winning streak in South Central this week by beating Strafford, 50-36. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Eagles.
Liberty's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground James Denton chipped in 170 yards. Trenton Bush helped Liberty's passing attack out by catching one ball for 27 yards.
Daniel French was the best wideout in the league this week as Darin Acklin's team bested the Indians. French tallied three receptions for 62 yards.
The Eagles' Acklin and Denton have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Acklin has thrown for 1601 yards this season, while Denton has 32 catches for 716 yards. Tyler Collins from the Panthers leads the league in rushing with 1452 yards.
In 178 carries Gavin Bolin has accumulated 931 yard this year.
Liberty led South Central in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Strafford. Acklin in the win.
