Last Wednesday, Richfield strolled past Juab with points to spare, taking the game 67-53.
Richfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gage Yardley, who scored nine points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Miles Barnett, who scored eight points along with five assists.
Meanwhile, Delta was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 51-45 to Canyon View. Delta has struggled against Canyon View recently, as their match on Wednesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Richfield has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Delta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Richfield beat Delta 59-46 in their previous meeting back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Delta's Cai Henderson, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
