North Bay Haven Academy hasn't had much luck against Rutherford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Buccaneers will head out on the road to face off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Rutherford took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on North Bay Haven Academy, who comes in off a win.
North Bay Haven Academy took a 55-point loss the last time they faced off against Marianna, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Buccaneers skirted past the Bulldogs 17-14. The victory was nothing new for the Buccaneers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Caleb Muszynski was his usual excellent self, throwing for 294 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 74 yards and one score on only eight carries. A healthy portion of Muszynski's aerial production (84 yards to be exact) went to Jackson Horne.
North Bay Haven Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Marianna's side was Chason Lee, who forced one fumble and made 18 total tackles (6.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Rutherford played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Port St. Joe, falling 54-20. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.
North Bay Haven Academy will need to focus on slowing down Jaleel Reed, one of several Rutherford players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 163 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 48 yards.
The win got North Bay Haven Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Rutherford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Muszynski and Reed. Muszynski just won't slow down this season and has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 148.6 passing yards per game. Reed has been a dominant force too and has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 206.7 passing yards per game.
North Bay Haven Academy was taken down by Rutherford 53-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Reed, who threw for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.
