The Ralls Jackrabbits lost against the Ropes Eagles back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ralls was outmatched by Ropes on the road and fell 77-43. While losing is never fun, Ralls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 994th, while Ropes is ranked 121st).
Despite the loss, Ralls still got an impressive performance from Caden Cargile, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Flores, who scored 9 points.
Ralls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ropes, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Ralls will face off against Dawson at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Dawson comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Ropes' road trip will continue as they head out to face Southcrest Christian at 12:15 p.m. on December 1st.
