The Port Townsend Redhawks took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against Klahowya by a score of 38-25. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Port Townsend also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shyanne Kilmer, who scored 5 points along with 12 rebounds. Paige Spandler was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 4 steals.
Port Townsend's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Klahowya, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Port Townsend does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Klahowya will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Annie Wright at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
