Basketball Recap: Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After losing to Herington the last time they met, Rural Vista [Hope/White City] decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat walked away with a 41-34 win over the Herington Railroaders on Tuesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rural Vista [Hope/White City] to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liliana Stilwell, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Noeth, who had six points.

Loss or not, Herington got some senior leadership from Leslyn Kremeier and Adrian Harrison. Kremeier earned 17 points, while Harrison put up eight points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 50% of Herington's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Rural Vista [Hope/White City]'s victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Herington, they now also have a losing record at 2-3.
