The Logan Grizzlies's and the Spanish Fork Dons's contest on Wednesday was close at halftime, but the Logan Grizzlies turned on the heat in the second half with 41 points. Logan was the clear victor by a 73-53 margin over Spanish Fork. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Logan also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Jordan Child was on fire: he dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Logan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Argyle, who scored 20 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Logan and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Spanish Fork, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan will take on Woods Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Woods Cross focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Tuesday. Spanish Fork and Timpanogos will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
