 Meanwhile, Great Bend entered their tilt with Dodge City with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged the Demons out  5-4. That's two games straight that Great Bend has won by  just one  run.
  Trenton Kern was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double.  Slade Mohr was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Garden City's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-7. As for Great Bend, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record  this season.
