Sophia Pecina was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 24 points, 18 rebounds, and ten assists. That makes it 17 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Progreso's points. Another player making a difference was Lorena Cerda, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
IDEA Weslaco Pike's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31 points. As for Progreso, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.
