Penn has gone a perfect 6-0 against Elkhart recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Kingsmen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Penn is coming into the match hot, having won their last 11 games.
On Thursday, Penn got the win against South Bend Adams by a conclusive 15-1. The Kingsmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Penn got a great performance from Caitlyn Denny as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Denny has posted since back in April.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ava Zachary, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Shannon Rudge was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Penn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Bend Adams only posted an OBP of .211.
Valparaiso hit Elkhart with a six-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lions took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.
Addison Reid was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs.
Penn pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Elkhart, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Penn has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Elkhart struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Penn's way against Elkhart in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Penn made off with a 12-1 win. Do the Kingsmen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
