Lane Miller and Obie Telford provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Fowler. The connection went for 68 yards, the longest such play in Santa Fe Trail (8 Man) this season.
Rolla led the league in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on Bucklin. Kyler Telford ran for 158 yards in the win.
Moscow's Miller and Rigo Bustillos have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Miller has thrown for 680 yards this season, while Bustillos, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 13 catches for 279 yards. Telford from the Pirates leads the league in rushing with 1371 yards.
The top two teams in Santa Fe Trail (8 Man) will face off this week when first place Rolla takes on second place Moscow. Rolla beat the Red Aces last week, while the Wildcats fell to the Goldbugs.
There should be lots of points scored when Jon Schnable's team and Moscow face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Pirates comes in having scored 238 this season, while Travis Johnson's team has scored 286. Rolla scored 46 points last week as it bested Bucklin.
