The Kingston Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Caseville 75-43 at home. Kingston has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 29 points or more this season.
Kingston's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Deroseau, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Owen Corlis, who scored 16 points along with six steals and five assists.
The victory (which was Kingston's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Caseville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingston will challenge Vassar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caseville, they will head out on the road to square off against Mayville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
