Clinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava Williford led the charge by scoring ten points along with five steals. Rubi Davila was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Clinton's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for West Bladen, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Bladen, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Midway is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
