The Tyrone Bobcats had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Booker 45-42. The win was just what Tyrone needed coming off of a 63-38 defeat in their prior matchup.
Despite the loss, Booker still got an impressive performance from Hagen Chisum, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. The match was Chisum's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Adrian Rosales, who scored 15 points.
Tyrone's victory bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Booker, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Tyrone will be playing in front of their home fans against Goodwell at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Booker, they will face off against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
