Beachside won the last time they faced Menendez and things went their way on Thursday too. The Beachside Barracudas sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Menendez Falcons. The Barracudas' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Derek Ochoa made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.
