Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bishop walked away with it. They never let the Montgomery Aztecs get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Wednesday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Jayla Stafford was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and three runs. Nora Wiese was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.

Bishop's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.

Bishop's victory bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for Montgomery, they moved to 17-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Bishop's nor the Aztecs have any future games scheduled.
