Severance is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They strolled past Thompson Valley with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  63-49. The  win was some much needed relief for the Silver Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Severance got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Damarii Wright out in front who  went 8 of 13  on his way to 19  points and seven  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Christian Powell, who  went 5 of 7  on his way to 15 points and eight  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  Roosevelt unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Friday. They took  a  72-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain View. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  on Tuesday (59), the Roughriders still had to take the loss.
 Roosevelt's  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Severance, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
 Severance beat Roosevelt 69-57  in their previous matchup  back in February of 2024. Will Severance repeat their success,  or does  Roosevelt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
