The Pinecrest Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Southern Lee on the road to the tune of 76-23. That looming 76-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Pinecrest yet this season.
Pinecrest was led to victory by Zanodiya Mcnair and Ashoneca King. Mcnair scored 11 points along with four steals, while King scored 11 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points King has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nor'Miya McNeill, who scored a point along with five steals.
Pinecrest's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Southern Lee, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest will challenge the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee County is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Southern Lee, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bucks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
