Soccer Recap: First Presbyterian Day Wins Going Away Against Piedmont Academy

First Presbyterian Day had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt Piedmont Academy on Thursday. The Vikings were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in March.

First Presbyterian Day has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matchups. As for Piedmont Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.

First Presbyterian Day will welcome Northside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Piedmont Academy, they will take on Tattnall Square Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
