Mariemont dropped their record down to 9-6 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 11-1 to the Indian Hill Braves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered since April 12th.

As for Indian Hill, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5. Considering they have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

For Indian Hill's part, the team relied heavily on Devlan Daniel, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Ashton Graham, who earned one RBI, two runs, and three stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Mariemont will be playing in front of their home fans against Clermont Northeastern at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Indian Hill will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' contest: after the Warriors face off against the Rockets, they'll take on Indian Hill again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
