Despite the loss, Moriarty still got an impressive performance from Caedon Kamplain, who rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Kamplain a new career-high in rushing yards.
Even though they lost, Moriarty was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 383 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards in four consecutive games dating back to last season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Moriarty fell to 2-1. As for St. Pius X, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
Moriarty will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bernalillo at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Bernalillo focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday. As for St. Pius X, they will venture away from home to challenge Organ Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Pius X is facing Organ Mountain at the right time seeing as Organ Mountain is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
