Bradford hasn't had much luck against Peabody recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Red Devils will head out to face off against the Golden Tide at 6:00 p.m. Bradford will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Last Tuesday, Bradford made easy work of Middleton and carried off a 17-4 win. Considering the Red Devils have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jax Richardson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Bradford's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-3 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Skerrett, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Bradford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Peabody, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Milan 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Tide have posted since March 10th.
Aidan Poore tossed a big game, tossing 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Beau Elliott, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Caden McClellan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Peabody is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Bradford, their record now sits at 12-8.
Bradford might still be hurting after the 9-2 loss they got from Peabody in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
