The Parish Episcopal Panthers waltzed into Thursday's match with four straight wins but they left with five. They blew past Trinity Christian 56-28 at home. The result was nothing new for Parish Episcopal, who have now won four contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Parish Episcopal was led to victory by Sawyer Anderson and Maddux Reid. Anderson threw for 251 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, while Reid rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. Reid really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Jaylen Pile was another key contributor, picking up 126 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Trinity Christian's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jack Behrman, who picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Soren Ouimette, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Parish Episcopal's win was their third straight at home , which pushed their record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.33 points. As for Trinity Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Parish Episcopal will be playing in front of their home fans against Prestonwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. One thing working in Prestonwood Christian's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five games. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Nolan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Nolan Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
